Wright State University
My alma mater asked me to do a reading in their art gallery and I could not have been more excited to oblige. Sign language interpreters were also present and added to the experience. Thanks to Dr. Erin Flanagan for putting the event together!
Book Loft of German Village
Thirty-two rooms of books and a patio to boot. This is one of the coolest bookstores anywhere. Even better--great coffee next door and legendary German food down the street. If you're in Columbus, this is a must-see.
Ohioana Book Festival
Ohioana is Ohio's premier book festival. Over 100 authors gathered in Columbus to celebrate the written word. I am humbled that I could be a part of it this year.
Cincinnati was recently listed as the 12th most literate city in the US. Fixtures on the literary scene like Joseph-Beth contribute to the Queen City's love of reading. I couldn't have been more at home.
Books & Co.
Books & Company hosted my book launch on April 16. The turnout was tremendous--lots of friends, family, and mentors.
Yellow Springs Novel Preview Party
My good friend and mentor, Scott Geisel and his wife Pam, were kind enough to host a preview party for Beyond the Horizon at their home in Yellow Springs. Thank you to everyone who attended for a great evening of conversation, food, and drink.
